How to Get Rid Of Blemishes Overnight: Step By Step


If you are unlucky enough to have developed blemishes or specks or blots on various parts of the body. There are various reasons for why blemishes develop. The main and common reasons for blemishes forming on your body are; hormonal changes, stress, environmental factors etc.

It can be an awkward and embarrassing situation if you develop blemishes on visible parts of your body and everyone can see them. It can be especially embarrassing if you develop the visible blemishes right before some important event such as an interview or a meeting.

Here is what you will need in order to get rid of the blemishes before the night is over:

  • Toothpaste
  • Eye drops
  • Ice cubes
  • A towel
  • A Cleanser
  • Some foundation cream

#1. Apply a cleanser of high quality

The first step towards getting rid of the blemish is to apply a face cleanser to your face. To ensure that the procedure is effective, try to have a cleanser of high quality. Rub the cleanser fluids gently and softly around your blemish that you want to get rid of.

#2. Wash and rinse away the cleanser

Once the cleanser has thoroughly cleaned your face in its current state, wash the cleanser away from your blemish. Rinse it carefully with mildly hot water and then use a towel to dry yourself. However, while toweling yourself, make sure that you do not rub the blemish with the towel. Leave the blemish alone while drying yourself.

#3. Toothpaste

Once the blemish has dried by itself, take out your toothpaste tube and aply some on and around the area of the blemish. By the way, if you don’t want to use toothpaste for this purpose, you can apply calamine lotion onto the blemish instead.

#4. Wait for some time

Take care that the toothpaste (or calamine lotion) stays attached to the blemish and don’t move around too much. Leave the toothpaste on the blemish for a few hours to make sure that it is absorbed into the blemish properly. Thus, you should apply and attach the toothpaste to your blemish after dinner, right before you are going to bed to sleep. This will let your blemish dissolve into the toothpaste overnight.

#5. Rinse the blemish with cold water

When you wake up in the morning, rinse the blemish and any toothpaste still left on your skin. But first make sure that it has dried under the toothpaste and isn’t moist at all, before you apply cold water to it.

#6. Ice-cubes

Inspect your blemish closely by looking at it and feeling it as well. Try to find out if there is any sort of swelling that still remains. If there are some swollen areas, then put ice-cubes on top of those areas for 5 to 10 minutes.

#7. Apply the eye drops

After 5 to 10 minutes of putting the ice cubes on top of your blemish, take away the ice cubes. Then right after getting rid of the ice cubes, pour some eye drops on top of the blemish.

These eye drops will work towards reducing the redness that your blemish has caused on your skin where it appeared and after applying the ice cubes, even though it might be completely gone by now, as long as you followed the previous instructions.

#8. Foundation cream

This is the final part of getting rid of your blemishes overnight. By this point, as long as you followed all the previous instructions to the letter. If the blemish still hasn’t been completely eradicated, then you can hide it under some foundation cream.
