How to Make a Homemade Exfoliating Face Wash

1. Pineapple Face Wash1

Ingredient:

  • One large pineapple
  • 3 tablespoons of virgin olive oil

How to make it:

Take the large pineapple and peel it into fine and medium sized slices. Put these slices into an electric blender and add in the 3 tablespoons of virgin olive oil. Blend these ingredients for a few seconds, until a smooth and fine face wash has been formed.

Now pour this paste into a bowl and use your hands and fingers to apply it onto your face, just like you would while washing your face. Use circular motions lasting one minute, to rinse your face in every part of it. After that, leave the face wash on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with water and then dry your face with a towel.

2. Oatmeal Face Wash2

This is another effective natural facial exfoliant.

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons of witch hazel
  • Enough water to moisten the oatmeal
  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal

How to make it:

Take the 3 tablespoons of oatmeal and mix it with the 3 teaspoons of witch hazel in a large bowl. Now pour some water into the bowl and stir it until a thick but smooth paste has formed. This is the facial exfoliating paste. Dip your hands and fingers into the mixture and liberally apply it to your face, using circular and outwards strokes.

Let the mixture stay on your face for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse and wash your face thoroughly.

3. Sugar Oil Face Wash3

This is another easy to make at home facial wash.

Ingredients:

  • A few drops of olive oil
  • Some granulated brown sugar

How to make it:

Take some of the olive oil and pour it into a small mixing bowl. Now wet your fingertips with the olive oil and rub it against your face until it has been completely coated by the oil.

Next, dip your fingers into the granulated brown sugar and let it stick to your fingers. Then rub your fingers against your face and keep scrubbing until all the sugar has been dissolved by your face. Then rinse your face with warm or hot water and enjoy a clean and exfoliated face.

4. Egg & Avocado Face Wash4

This face wash not only exfoliates your face but also tightens your facial skin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • Half a cup of milk
  • Half a cup of peeled and mashed avocados
  • Some clean cotton balls

How to make it:

Crack an egg and separate its yolk and put this yolk into a large bowl. Now take the half cup of milk and add it to the bowl. Similarly, add the same amount of mashed and peeled avocados into the bowl.

Use a large whisk to crush the ingredients together and make them into a thick paste. Now take some clean cotton balls and soak them in the paste. Now apply the soaked cotton balls to your face and leave the paste there for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wash your face with lukewarm water.
